Site Inspired
My initial elevation was extremely uniform and monochrome. I thus decided to introduce colours into my design in order to enliven the facade.
Contrasting colours were chosen from what I felt were existing visually striking tones from the site.
Colours were applied to externally reference internal programme, linking to my 3.1 idea of creating separate and unique buildings.
This also helps older users with reduced visual contrast differentiate between different areas.
